The Watchung Hills Soccer Association Travel Program is committed to providing an opportunity for youth to develop to their potential in a high quality and competitive soccer program.  Teams do so by participating in leagues that are affiliated with New Jersey Youth Soccer (NJYS), which is part of the National Association representing youth soccer in the State of New Jersey . The Watchung Hills Soccer Association Travel program is designed for players in age groups U8 through U14.  There is also a Division 1 and 2 program for high school players that runs in the spring season only.  Players typically receive professional training two evenings per week, play one game every week and participate in one travel tournament each season.  In many cases, winter training is also provided.  Travel registration fees vary based on the level of training that each travel team participates in.   Mandatory tryouts are held each June to select players for the upcoming fall and spring seasons.  Players who sign up are making a commitment for both seasons.

The Travel program groups players by birth date (not by school grade) and by playing ability. The age group classifications for the 2007-2008 season are as follows:
