Jersey Sky Blue, an expansion team in the W League, will be playing its home matches at Ridge High during the Spring-Summer 2007 season. The W League is the highest level of women’s soccer played in the United States.
The Sky Blue roster is building and already includes World Cup veteran Formiga of Brazil and Basking Ridge’s own Tobin Heath, who just completed a banner freshman season at the University of North Carolina.
